Adobe Digital Editions 1.7.2

I am trying to download the latest ADE 1.7.2 onto PC (Windows 7). It reaches a point where the download / installation hangs with the message "Could not open input file for splittnet files". I don't have a clue what this even means, but would appreciate some help. Thanks - Dadrulesok.

    Hi,

    Which anti-virus / firewall software do you have installed?

    Do you have the same problem when you try to download any other application from the Internet?

    Trend Micro OfficeScan Client is the anti-virus / firewall.

    No, no problems downloading any other software. The previous ADE version

    loaded without a hitch.

    Can you try disabling the anti-virus and firewall temporarily and downloading the product?
