Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 Convert Trial

Some time ago, I bought and installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 from a disk. Since then, I have lost the disk although I still have my serial key.

I have been searching for a long time for a free download that I could input my key into, and have had no luck. However, I recently found that trial versions can be converted to full versions!

But the instructions on the FAQ page about this state that the option should be visible to place a key, and I can not for the life of me find this place. Is this option not available for old product trials? The trial has long expired, and even when it was usable I was unable to find anywhere that talked about imputing a trial key.

I have a sort of "cheat" version that was installed on a former drive, that I've copied the folder of into my boot drive, but this is full of bugs and also does not ask about installing it or using a key.

What options do I have for getting APE 2 again, besides just buying an entirely new one?

adobe trials usually allow licensing to a full copy during installation.

i'm not aware of any pse trials being available earlier than pse 7, but if you found a pse 2 trial, what happens when you start installation (possibly using compatibility mode)?

You simply have a very old piece of software. that and not all trial versions could be converted. Some older versions always required to input the serial during install, OEM versions bundled with hardware often did not require any serial at all, but were tied to autheticating the vendor ID of the stuff they came with. you are probably simply out of luck.
