Hi,
I need to re-install CS3 on my new Mac (macOS Sierra Version 10.12.6).
Using FF 58.0 I tried to download the installtion files from: Neue Seriennummer erhalten | CS3, Acrobat 8
However, installtion of Akamai NetSession Interface failes. So I cannot download the installtion files for CS3.
Waht should I do? Any ideas?

you have to get the serial number and cs3 version offered in exchange for your serial number via that link.
try a different browser.

Hi kglad,
I have already exchanged the serial number.
Now, I need to download the installation file for CS 3 from this website. Therefore, I need first to download and install the Akamia NetSession Interface. But this doesn't work.
I have now tried Safari Version 11.0.3 (12604.5.6.1.1). The download of Akamia wokrs but installation failed again.

Hi,
I didn't know. It just says installation fails, due to an error. I should contact the producer. Please, see screenshot (in German):

Akamia support team just answered me:
"Please be aware that the installation on Mac OS Sierra it is known to fail with the following error (screenshot attached). According to apple support forum, it is likely a bug on the mac OS. Here a reference document:https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7770207"
Attached was the error message from my last post. That's no good news for Sierra users...
Maybe someone else has an idea how I can download and install CS3 on my new machine?

Hi,
I'm having the same issue trying to do the same thing, download CS3 with a new serial number. I'm on OS 10.6.8 using FireFox.
Did you ever figure out how to get it to work? This is the error message I get:

You can skip using the Akamia NetSession and directly download the cs3 installer files by doing the following:
1. After you click the link to the cs3 download you should see a dialog as below.
Then click on where its says you not complete installation.
2. In the next screen press OK to use the alternate download method.
3. In the next screen Click here to start the direct download of the installer file (dmg)

Thanks for those screenshots - I did manage to get the download. But it seems there might still be pieces of Photoshop on my system, because I'm getting this error message (see screenshot).
I used AppCleaner to remove Photoshop, so I'm not sure whats going on. I may delete and try a fresh download.
@ kglad - thanks, I did get it to work, finally.

kglad,
it was windows OS - windows 10 on PC
this was my entry point link...as instructed by adobe:
Obtain a new serial number | CS3, CS4
this link above asked me to type my original cs3 masters cd-serial key
then it took me to a page which told me to DELETE any cs3 adobe software from my pc & restart
then on the same page,
3 files to download...for WINDOWS
i downloaded ALL of them...
LASTLY:
Do one of the following:
--------
so i followed this & all i receive is a folder on my desktop names adobe CS3 - but this folder contains no EXECUTABLE fiiles... it is just a folder with documentation... no actual software or programs! & nothing is actually installed in my programs on the pc.
im stuck ?

try using a different browser to download the files to a different folder. double check the file extensions before downloading to make sure your browser is not altering any file extensions.
it's unlikely more than 1 would be an exe. the others are like 7z files that are auto-extracted by the exe. that's the way adobe downloads usually work, though i can't say for certain that's the situation with the cs3 files because i don't have a cs3 serial number to use to test myself.

Adobe seems to have a penchant for making simple things confusing.
When I access the new non-activation CS3 download links using my original CS3 Design Premium serial number, I am presented with a screen full of download links.
The Windows versions of these links used to be one .exe file and one .7z file. They are now all .exe files. However the installation instructions have not been updated from the days of exe/7z files. They seem to assume there's only one .exe file.
I have not tried installing these yet since I'm travelling with only a MacBook Air available to me.
