Question

trying to install Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC on a Dell desktop with Windows 10 OS - see error messages....

ERROR: DW071:

ERROR: DW003: Third party payload installer vcredist_x64.exe failed with exit code: -2147024546

ERROR: Failed to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x64). Please try installing it by double clicking on the executable at "C:\Users\Bruce\AppData\Local\Temp\{A21F0230-5EE5-486F-8BF9-A1AAE040B907}\Photoshop_16_LS20_win64\Adobe CC 2015\payloads\Microsoft VC 2012 Redist (x64)\vcredist_x64.exe", or download and install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x64) from Microsoft website - www.microsoft.com

Hi,Please try the steps below:Uninstall the Adobe CC desktop app from the machine (Creative Cloud Help | Uninstall the Creative Cloud desktop app)Set the permissions to 'Full Control' on Adobe folders for the all the users in the following locations:[System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\[System drive]:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Restart the machine.Install the Adobe CC desktop app (Creative Cloud Help | Creative Cloud for desktop) Regards,Sheena
