How to install and activate InDesign CS4

My coworker has a license that the company bought years ago. She currently has InDesign installed on her computer.

I installed the newer version on my computer and want to 'activate' the license so I can use InDesign on my computer,

however there is no 'activate' option in the InDesign that I have open, I can see the button that says 7days left in Trial,

when I click on it, it asks to buy a monthly subscription. This license was purchased years ago (I believe from the CD installer box for the whole suite)

help???

Serial numbers are version specific... you may not use a CS5 serial number with CS6

Some general information for a Cloud subscription

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

.

Does your Cloud subscription properly show on your account page?

https://www.adobe.com/account.html for subscriptions on your Adobe page

If you have more than one email, are you sure you are using the correct Adobe ID?

.

If yes

Log out of your Cloud account... Restart your computer... Log in to your paid Cloud account

Only if the license is for the suite containing InDesign CS4.
