I forgot my password for the Creative Cloud installer, and it's not my adobe ID password.

When the installation box pops up, it says "Creative Cloud Installer wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this". Well, I made that password probably 3 years ago and the hint doesn't strike any bells for me. It won't accept the password I made for my adobe ID, and it doesn't give an option to change the password. How do I reset this password?

If it involves asking about making changes to your system it is not Adobe asking for the password.  It is your system's security requiring it to provide the system password to allow the installation
