I had photoshop on my old computer, but I just got a new one for college. The photoshop that I had was a gift from someone that does not speak to me anymore. Is there any way that i could transfer my photoshop onto my new computer?

I just got a new laptop for college. I still want photoshop on my new computer, but I have no idea how to get it again. My previous photoshop program was from someone that does not speak to me anymore so I do not know anything about the product number or anything of that nature, is it still possible to get photoshop back on my new computer without repurchasing it again? Thanks so much.

Adobe applications cannot be transferred, they need to be installed using installation files.  If you do not have any activation numbers for the product and do not have an account that is associated with this software (where you would find the serial number if you registered it), then the short answer is that you do not own the software and have no legal right to it.
