Lightroom [How to open Canon 5D Mark IV Raw files in Lightroom 5?]

Hi,

I made an equipment upgrade to Canon's 5D Mark IV and when I went to download my raw files, my import would proceed without any files showing up after completed. I am currently a Lightroom 5 user, do I need to upgrade to Lightroom 6 for my files to appear?

You can install LR6 as a trial and use it free for 7 days. Go to the link below.

The main download has a size of 744mb (Windows) or 727mb (Mac)

After installing the main download, install the LR6.8/2015.8 update patch.

Launch Lightroom and from the menu bar click:

Help >> Updates

Otherwise use the download link, click to expand the LR6 tab and you will see links for all previous updates. You only need to download the one for LR6.8/2015.8

What do you mean there's some issues between that camera and cr? Sorry, I can be completely illiterate to these things. I don't want to buy LR 6 without knowing its going to solve my problem. Just want to get all the kinks out
