Hi, I just updated Lightroom to CC and CameraRaw to 9.1.1 and I still can't import the CR2 files from my Canon GX7 Mark ii.  Is there something special I need to do?

Is this correct?

No.

(You can Ignore Adobe Camera Raw- Lightroom does not need or use it!- it is only required for Photoshop-CC)

"Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC 2015 Release"  is the first version of CC2015.0  (2015.ZERO)

Lightroom is now at CC2015.12 (2015.TWELVE)

You should be using the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App to (automatically) download and update Lr.

Some users are finding that the update is not working, and then need to apply the CC2015.12 update manually by doing the following-

Do NOT uninstall CC2015.0.

Download Photoshop Lightroom

Expand the line  "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6" and choose the 6.12 from the "Updates" list.

Run the update installer.

Check your  Lr {Help:  System Info} to confirm your working version.

Hello.  I am using windows 10 and currently have an up to date version of Lightroom 5.  I have also just purchased a Canon G7x mark ii and shoot in RAW.  Is there any way I can import my RAW files without having to first convert them to tiffs in digital photo professional??? So time consuming!  Thinking of swapping back to my trusty G16 to save time.  Cheers, Danny.

You have options-

1. Pay for the upgrade to v6.  You will also need the Update to minimum v6.6 for the G7x Mkii.- v6.12 preferred!

2. Download the free Adobe DNG Converter, and convert your RAW files to DNG RAW, then import in Lr5

3. Subscribe to Creative Cloud Photography Plan for the most recent versions of Lr and Photoshop.

I do not see the Canon GX 7 Mark 11 listed in Canon available camera models, there is a Canon Powershot G7  X Mark 11.

If this is the camera you are referring to support was added in LR CC 2015.6/ Lr 6.6, Adobe Camera Raw 9.6

You need to upgrade to the latest version which is Lightroom CC 2015.12 (twelve) Camera Raw 9.12 ( Camera Raw 9.1.1 has been updated at least ten times.)

Hi!  Thank you for the note.  I just downloaded Lightroom CC form Adobe's site yesterday and I downloaded Camera Raw 9.12 right now.  I did check my camera and it is on the list and should be working, although just recently.  When I go to "About" in Lightroom it reads "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC, 2015 Release Camera Raw 9.0".  Is this correct?  Thanks for trying to help me.
