LR classic - how to mark favorites and copy them

Hi

I am new with the Adobe creative suite and have no experience with lightroom yet. Is there any easy way to watch hundreds of photos in a slideshow, mark my favorites while watching and move all selected pictures at the end to a specific folder?

I am looking for an easy and efficient solution as never dealt with LR before

    You filter in the Library grid. The photos are already in a folder on your computer if you imported them into Lr Classic to be managed. The beauty of creating collections is that they are stored as metadata, so no duplication of files & folders. And you can add photos to more than one collection. Think of them like play lists in iTunes where you can have the same song in several playlists. It’s a simple way of segmenting the data base while still referencing the same file.

    To create duplicate files in a new directory, you would use Export.

    You can mark photos with a pick flag or star rating simply by pressing a key. You can do this by scrolling from photo to photo e.g. using the right & left arrow keys. It is not possible to do this from a slideshow.

    You can then filter for all the flagged photos and quickly make an album (collection) for just those picks.

    Thanks sounds great - how can I filter then all flagged photos ( in the menu section)?

    I guess I can choose if I want to move all flagged pictures to a new directory or copy them?
