Lightroom 6.3 won't accept New TG6 camera RAW files nor can I get the updates to connect

Two problems but related

I have LR6.3 and the Olympus TG6 RAWfiles aren't recognised. I have tried to update and get a "can't connect check internet" notice. Obviously I was on the internet so that wasn't the problem.

Thanks for any help.

Even downloading the 6.14 installer will NOT help you. (but it is better than 6.3!)

[v6 in the link given above is for v6.14]

The raw files from the TG6 require Lightroom Version 8.3 which is only available by the Photography plan subscription.

You can either-

1. Subscribe to the Photography plan (US$9.99/m) for the best combination of photography software, or

2. Download and use the Adobe DNG Converter App to convert your ra

Download installer, and install again.
