Question

Profiles created in Camera Raw aren't appearing in Lightroom Classic

I've been watching tutorials on how to create profiles in ACR. Everything I'm seeing says that when you create a profile in ACR it will automatically appear in the profile browser in Lr CC, after Lr is restarted. However I'm not seeing that. My custom profiles appear fine in ACR but when I go over to Lr they're not there. Is there anything else that I need to do?

Your version number of Lightroom-Classic is...?

Do you see your created profiles as .XMP files in a folder like-

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .

Sorry - I'm on Lr 8.2

I'm on a Mac but yes the profiles I created are .xmp files found in Library/⁨Application Support/⁨Adobe⁩/⁨CameraRaw⁩/Settings

You mention "in Lr CC"- are you referring to Lr-CC or Lightroom-Classic?

And you cannot see them listed in the 'User' panel of the Profile Browser of Lr-Classic?
