Tethered shooting with D700

New Here ,

Any known issues with LR 8.2, Nikon D700 and Mac OS Mojave? I can't get it working. LR won't find my camera.

With Nikon Camera Control Pro 2, everything works fine. SO no problem in the connection between camera and Mac.

Hi Bertg,

Seems like a similar issue has been reported here: Lightroom Classic 8.2: Nikon d700 will not connect for tethered shooting | Photoshop Family Customer...

Could you try the steps here and see if it helps? Fix tethered shooting in Lightroom

Sahil

Hello Sahil,

I tried all steps but no positive result. A couple of remarks:

- Don't know how to check if Mac OS 10.14.3 is supporting Nikon D700 but it works with Nikon Camera Control Pro 2

- Can't change transfer mode in the camera. It's fixed to PTP

- When I start tethering I receive a screen where I can fill in the tethered capture settings. When I press OK my camera displays "PC". So there is some kind of connection between LR and my D700. At that point it keeps on showing the "detecting camera" message.

I have:

Mac OS 10.14.3

LR 8.2

Nikon D700

A1.04 and B1.03 Firmware

LR is in the applications folder, my catalog in the dropbox folder. I don't know what is meant with the folder where I store the imported images.

I just installed LR 8.2.1. Doesn't work either.

Regards, Bert
