Are Canon EOS RP raw files supported in Photoshop Elements 2019?

Is Photoshop Elements 2019 able to open RAW files taken with the new Canon EOS RP camera? The current Photoshop Elements 12 program that I use does not recognize the RAW files from the new camera........

Your camera requires the Camera Raw version 11.2.1, but that may not available for Photoshop Elements 2019. Until that update becomes available, you can use the DNG converter as a work-around. It will convert your RAW files into and Adobe raw file format called a DNG. The are great files and take up less space than standard raw files. Also, your processing of the files will not create an XMP sidecar file to go with each raw file for any processing you do. It embeds the information back into the DNG. And those DNG files will work fine with the version of elements you have right now.

If you would like a copy of the DNG converter, you can get it here...

Thanks for that information, Daniel.... Another response "above" shows that numerous cameras were added to the PS 19 family as "supported". According to that response, the Canon EOS RP is included. They said it was recently done so I am hoping that the issue WAS addressed. Thanks again for taking the time to respond, Daniel. I appreciate it very much!
