Nikon D850 support in Photoshop Elements 15

Does Photoshop Elements 15 support raw (NEF) files from the Nikon D850?

If not will this support be in Elements 2018?

You can't use Nikon D850 directly as indicated above.

You can use the DNGconverter and open the converted DNG raw files in PSE15 and older Elements versions.

Hi,

Please check your RAW plug-in version. If it's not 9.12.1 or above then please update to latest to open the image.

You can check your plug-in version by opening Help menu and then clicking on  About plug-in and the Camera Raw.

My version is 9.10.0.739.  I tried clicking on updates and there are no updates.  It displays - All applications are up to date.  Last update checked - 1 minute ago.   How do I update the camera raw plugin?  Is there something special I need to do to update the plugin for Elements 15?

Elements 15 can't be updated to more than the 9.10.0 version.

Elements 2018 supports up to version 10.0 after using the menu Help >> Update, it does support the D850.

You can use the free Adobe DNGconverter (download link in the faq)

(the link about ACR versions compatible with Elements is not yet updated to PSE 2018)

That free converter can batch convert a whole folder of you NEF files to the raw DNG format that your PSE15 can read and edit.
