My old Photoshop version (CS5) is running on a Windows Computer. In the meantime I have bought a new Nikon camera D5600, downloaded the latest camera raw plug in version 9.9. However now Photoshop cannot open the new NEF files. I suspect that I will have to upgrade to the latest version but will this be compatible with Windows 7 or will I need to upgrade to Windows 10 first? Also is the latest version of Photoshop backward compatible with my old NEF files?
