Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019 crashes on startup

Hello, I am writing this due to failure of trying to launch Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019. So what's happening is I downloaded the new mac OS Catalina, not sure if that has anything to do with this. But this situation has never happened before. Anyway, upon launching Premiere Pro, a window popped up stating that adobe premiere pro wanted access to my documents folder. After I clicked deny, it crashed. And it continues to crash upon every startup now. I opened another adobe program and it asked me the same thing, but this time I hit allow. Worked perfectly. Is there any way to allow adobe premiere pro to access the documents folder? It is not presenting me with that option anymore, and I cannot figure out how to change it. I looked in the documents folder and the adobe folder with all adobe app files was located there. It appears hitting deny was a major error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem after upgrading to Catalina and denying the access. In my case, it started working again after I deleted my premiere profile folder.

Here is the path to find the folder: Users > Yourname > Documents > Adobe > Premiere Pro > 13.0

In "13.0" folder, delete the folder named "Profile-Yourname."

Hope this works for you as well.

Start with FAQ: How to reset (trash) preferences.

Guessing Pr is not quite optimized for Catalina.

I would not have upgrade OS but would have given it a few months to settle down and wait for the next version of Pr.
