Hello.
Im new to r3d files. When i started working on my project everything worked out perfect for 2 hours then all of a sudden there was no preview. It was when i adjusted choke and soften in "ultra key" the problem started. I can see the thumbnail for my imported footage, but if i try to preview the files it just goes black. I guessing this is a driver issue, but I need help figuring out what to do. My graphics card is: msi geforce gtx 1080 sea hawk with nvidia driver 376.33. I have a deadline in few days and this is not what i needed now.. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated! It works when i change render to Mercura Playback Engine Software Only (instead of GPU Acceleration (CUDA)). But that is no real solution, slow as heck.. It is cc 2017 (if that matters)

This is an open issue with the CUDA Renderer and is being investigated. The only known workaround is the one you have already discovered, change the Renderer to Software Only.

I assume Adobe's aware, but this happens with more than just R3D files. I'm having a hell of a time with 376.33 and h.264 MPEG4 files. Trying to play my timeline is impossible as it blacks out. And prior to that, if I try to export the video to another h.264 file, it gets to about 97% or so and stalls. The CPU's use drops to 0% and it never completes.
Kicking over to Software Only fixes that.
Is this something that NVidia mucked up with 376.33? Or was it a change they intentionally made for other reasons, and now Pr needs to be updated?
Thanks.

The Ultra Key Soften issue should now be resolved in the 11.0.2 update that was just posted.
