Can't activate my CS3 using serial number. Chat support useless. No email support. What has happened to Adobe?
I have a legal version of CS3 Creative Suite that I paid $$$$$ for. I'm trying to install it on a new PC and Adobe refuses to accept my serial number for activation. Searched on Adobe and found that Adobe intentionally did this. Now Adobe wants me to use a new installer with a new serial number. The new installer (Akami) won't install: 'We're sorry the installation failed. Please take a moment to share your feedback regarding this installation process'. I go to the help page that directed me to chat help. Chat help is totally useless: 'Tom,we would like help you,but we are unable to use the helping tools.'. And there is no longer email support for Adobe products. I have spent 1 man day trying to get the software that I paid for to activate but Adobe has put up blocks everywhere preventing me from activating. They keep asking me to upgrade to CC so they can take my money every month and not just 1 time. Adobe has lost touch with the reality that most users are average people and not wealthy. What has happened to Adobe? The 'new Adobe' is greedy and is only affordable to the rich and corporations. In the future there will be new companies offering similar software at a fraction of the cost. I look forward to moving away from Adobe products asap. In the meantime, is there anyone working for Adobe that will activate the software that spent so much money to buy?
