Need Help: MPEG IMX settings for captions in Premiere? Used to Use Final Cut Pro
Hey everyone!
I am new to Adobe Premiere, and I need help. I used to use Final Cut Pro, and now the company I work for is doing away with FCP and now we're learning Adobe Premiere. Here's a breakdown of my problem:
So the videos I'm working on have encoded captions, and on Final Cut Pro, the setting I had to use was "MPEG IMX 525/60." The captions wouldn't work on any other setting. So on Premiere, I see that when it comes to exporting videos, the two settings in question are "Format" and "Preset."
What I need to know is, does anyone know what Premiere's equivalent settings are to Final Cut Pro's? When exporting videos on Final Cut, the video setting was always "MPEG IMX 525/60 (30 mbps)," and the size setting was either NTSC 720X480 4:3, or NTSC 720X480 16:9, depending on whether the clip is full or wide screen. The export settings in Premiere are not quite labeled the same. Does anyone know the equivalent settings in Premiere to maintain those encoded captions?
