Kevin,

Thanks for linking to that clear and concise article on using Shared projects within a network-server group of editors. Many of the issues that come up on this forum are actually a result of using the "individual" type project over a network server by a group of editors.

And this process simply is FAR more reliable!

Yet ... it is all too hard to get some shops to even look at using Shared rather than individual projects. I've never understood that. Why insist on using a process that 1) is NOT designed for how you're using it and 2) has notable problems with the way you insist on using it?

Especially when the Shared Projects are just as simple to use but way more reliable.
