Premiere Pro 12.1.0 supports MKV files !

It's not even mentionned on the new features but I accidently just import an MKV on my project. It's just after reading the file informations on the project panel I realized it.

Great from adobe.

Also it seems that a slowing IU with Sapphire plugins is gone.

PC only?  Just tried on OSX and got unsupported compression type running PP 12.1.1

The only comments I have seen are from PC users. The mkv support is undocumented, and there are issues. So I would look at what the compression/source is, and see if another mkv will import. But I would not be surprised if it is PC only at the moment.

I just converted a file to mkv with Handbrake and it imports.
