Hi, everybody

Premiere Pro CC 2017 don't support CUDA in Nvidia GTX 295 video card

GPUsniffer says "Not chosen because of old driver"

Although the driver and in 2016 the newer company NVIDIa did not release

The video card is old, but I would not like to change it now for something better. How to be in this situation? ask Nvidia to release a fresher driver? or even if they decide, Premiere will not support old video cards anyway?

please help

Thanks

I would recommend upgrading to a 1000 series GTX card from nVidia.

I'm sorry to say this, but you have no choice but to update your card. Beginning with CC 2015.3, nVidia driver version 365 or higher is required to even enable CUDA GPU acceleration at all. This effectively blocks all of the Tesla-architecture GPUs (not to be confused with the expensive Tesla add-in GPGPU cards), including all of the GeForce 200 series and all of the Quadro FX series GPUs): They are no longer supported further by nVidia (which means that there will be no more new drivers for such old GPUs ever), making driver version 342 (which was released in late 2016 because although driver support was supposed to have been cut off in April of that year) the most recent that those relics can run.
