Should one pre-render all footage on the sequence before exporting to file?
Is rendering the entire sequence before exporting a wasted step?
Years ago I used to demonstrably ensure exported footage was free of any glitches if I rendered the timeline in advance of exporting to a file. Pre-rendering seemed to solve unexplained visual artifacts and audio issues.
Is that really necessary now? Is PP CC better to the point if I've done editing I can just export? If I can benefit from other's more recent experience, I rather not find out after trying to render whole movies that this is still the case.
Thanks!
