Hello, I wanted to use free trial and then I just forgot to cancel it. I have not used single time just wanted to test Generative Fill.
Then my payment done and I started using that.
My plan is annual and I can't afford that.
How can I cancel this subscription without any penalties? 🙂
Thanks
if you're still within the penalty-free cancellation period, you can do that. otherwise, you cannot.
make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html
for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html
if you want to cancel but are unable to follow

if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", contact adobe support.
there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):
chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare
p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

just note, for future reference and definitely don't do this because it's bad, but if you happen to run low on money, or your bank starts rejecting the payments for some reason, your access to the software will be restricted and you will have to pay the outstanding fee at some point to resume use.
There has been a lawsuit over adobe's lack of transparency, so if you bring it up with customer service, and do your best to explain you did not understand or see the terms of service, or that you had selected the wrong plan, they'll probably help. if not then start yelling at them and they'll be more likely to help. that's how I got my liscense for CS6 reinstated without needing to use legal services.
I feel "I didn't know this was not the trial version" just a day or two after the contract starts would be pretty easy to fix.
