address change

I want to change the default email address in my profile, which appears doable until I am pormpted for the OTP that was ent to the email address in my Profile.

By the time I get the OTP, at my default address, it has expired. Mail to that address are delayed because it's a "forwarding address."

I tried the "lost password" option, and use my current address:<Removed by Moderator> but not OTP came; to either address.

Why can't a OTP be sent as text, to my phone?

Ok, but it's the email Adobe uses to notify me that my posts are being responsed. And this is the place, in the Community, where I would expect this question to be address; in that place where quesions about how the comminity boarks; unrelated to tech questions about the apps. 

When I am logged to the community and want to modify my Proile; like changing my email address why wouldld it be deemed an inapropreate place fro the questions?

When I try to change my email profile, I am being asked to verity my ID.  The code I'm sent can't reach me in time to use it, so I can't veriy my ID.  All I want is for the community change the place it sends the OTP, so I can use ir before it expites. Why can't OTP be sent to my text app, where ti will arrive instantly and I can use it before it expires? 

The OTP codes that are sent to an email address too verify the presone requestinng an address change.. Like the one banks post to your text message app,that arrive instantly;  before they expire; like the ones I get in my email.
