check your account, https://account.adobe.com and verify everything is what you expect.

then sign out and then back in to the cc desktop app using the same adobe id/password used to check your account, https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/activate-deactivate-products.html

Thank you, I have checked my account several times after trying different solutions, including the above, but it no longer registers the invoices or past orders for the product, although it has picked up my docs stored in the cloud. I can attach a copy of the invoice to prove my purchase, but am concerned about privacy.

Much appreciated,

John.

@john_2907

contact adobe support (and yes, post no private info here).  there are 2 ways to contact adobe support; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
if you have or want to purchase a subscription, use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

No can do unfortunately. When I ask for an agent the AI bot asks me to:

"Sign out of this account and sign in with another email that might be linked to an active plan.

After you sign in with an active account, please return to chat and ask for agent or phone assistance."

Which is a great help, since if I could sign in with the email linked to the active plan I would not have the problem!!!!
