Adobe autosigned me up for Pro Bundle, charged my cr card for Pro AND Original mbrshp FOR FULL YEAR!

HEY, WHAT THAH?! My trust in Adobe has been shaken!

While doing our taxes for I have only JUST discovered that Adobe appears to, without my permission, automatically signed me up for a Pro Bundle Membershio and has been charging my credit card for BOTH  the Pro Membership (which I never signed up for a free trial for) AND my original membership (which I subscribed for in 2015!) FOR A FULL YEAR! What the heck is actually going on here? Have they done this to other long-term customers?!  How do I get my money back?

In doing some quick research I also learned that The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) filed a lawsuit against Adobe and two of its executives, alleging that Adobe deceived consumers by hiding early termination fees for its subscription plans and making cancellations difficult, potentially violating the Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act!

ps: the company seems to have discontinued sending annual renewal reminder emails, as well. Had those continued I would have been informed that my billing had changed and would have dealt with this error immediately!  I just trusted that my auto renewal remained the same because I have not signed up for anything new. CLEARLY, that trust has been betrayed and won't happen again on my end! I recommend you all check your Adobe billing monthly, I sure will!

Correct answer kglad

You are not hearing me. The invoices are on my account. They are Adobe charges and they are using the same credi card that my original membership account is ALSO being charged ... since 2015!

what's your account show, https://account.adobe.com

By the sound of it, you may have more than one account under different IDs (emails).

Possibly ordered from a 3rd party vendor like Amazon, Google or Apple iStore.

Adobe can't help you with 3rd party orders. You would need to contact the vendor directly.

I only have one account and Adobe has been charghing me twice on that account. And it added the Pro account and an AI addon that I NEVER Signed up for either of those. The billing for these unothorized charges are on my account invoice history page and I have only just discovered them due to working on my taxes. This has been going on for a year and I NEVER was informed that they had been added.

I don't know what PRO account or AI add-on you're referring to.

Your account should have those details.

The plan options have changed recently, which could be part of your confusion.

The Full Creative Cloud Plan now includes Adobe Express Premium service.  Previously, that was a separate purchase.  Also included are Firefly generative AI, Adobe Fonts, 10 free Stock images, and other perks as part of the package.

Thank you for the advice, John. The new suscription for the Pro Account is there and they have been billing me for a year for two accounts and they added yet another add on, as well. My account now has my monthy billings for my original account with 20gb, the new Pro account that exactly the same as my original but has 100gb and an AI Assistant account that I NEVER would have signed up for!

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

and for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

if you're unable to follow the steps described, you'll need to await help from an adobe employee for the next step.  (if you don't get a reply here from a badged employee within 24 hours, repost.)

subscriptions auto-renew, and renewal emails are (supposedly) sent.  did you check your spam folder ~one month prior to the renewal?

My last renewal email was received in 2022. I have kept them in my records and always delivered to my inbox until then.
