I bought Adobe off Groupon . They are still selling different versions of the ad still Groupon Link Its a scam. It starts off with you purchase it, and then they send you an email and a password for your new adobe creative cloud. I open it, and change the password and email like they tell me to... so Im using it for some days and then the trial is over, my billing didnt go through. Billing ? I thought I already paid. So I look at the billing and it has someone elses credit card info, so I write to groupon. Its an obvious scam. Groupon is a legit company and should not be selling scams. BUT my creative cloud is gone. I am a bartender working double shifts to pay for my music career, and was tired of using my roomates creative cloud cause I use AE, PS, Illustrator, I use it all making videos, photos, writing, layouts You name it. EVERY SINGLE DAY. So I was like ... you know what , Im never buying anything again unless its directly from the vendor. Lesson learned, I move on and I decide to pay for the year , everything is fine and bam - ' Adobe Creative Cloud Account is suspended due to fraudulent behavior' how? That's my actual credit card that Adobe charged.
The email says to contact Adobe, I call - they say theyll call me back in 5 minutes. Never see a call but apparently they did. So I log into chat - The agent types that there is nothing he can do, tells me to call my credit card company and chargeback the Adobe charge. I tell him that the email said to contact Adobe and he (im assuming) is Adobe so I ask to speak to someone else, he said hll email to escalate blah blah blah. I decide to call again, my wait time is 5 minutes, Im at work with my airpods in trying not to get in trouble - I finally go on my lunch break and after 45 minutes finally get someone on the phone who at first was stearn but explained everything and what Groupon was, Etc - seemed to not be a mean person, She said they would investigate and get back to me in 5 business days, so I cant use any of my programs that I have been using while I am releasing , cant make cover art, edit nothing with Adobe. MIKO MALO is dying here!!!
I don't even know if I am posting this in the right place. I guess it is what it is. I just wish there would be a heads up ... like "Hey, somethings off with your account, can we talk ?" Not just cut me off. This is not a good relationship. I believe this is called stonewalling and it is actually having an effect on my psychological and emotional well being. I seriously didnt sleep well for the past comple of days because I'm on a deadline and now have to depend on other people. The honeymoon stage has been tarnished and Capcut Pro, and Canva have been helping me through these tough times. Canva even took me out to dinner the other night and I might even consider it letting sleep over. Please Adobe, lets go back and remember the romance.
