Adobe offers free trial and cancellation within 7-14 days. i tried it and then after a day or so decided i did not need the app. so i tried cancellation. tried from the website but something will go wrong and show up techical issue and to try later again. this went on for a day or two. i had to cancel it so i spoke to their representatives. he said he cancelled it for me. just to learn that i am being charged monthly. i talked to a representative and he offered me 3 months of free service without me cancelling the subscription. what a scam. made it impossible to cancel the subscription once you enjoy their free trial. And reading the community discussion, it seems like a regular Adobe policy.
this is their offer "I would like to inform you that, as your subscription is under the Annual Commitment/Monthly Billing contract so according to Adobe T&C if you wish to cancel your subscription before completing your annual tenure then you must pay an early termination fee which is 50% of the remaining months.
That is why we are offering you 3 months free, so instead of paying a cancellation fee, you can take 3 free months and complete your tenure. It’s better to continue with the subscription rather than pay an Early Termination charge of such an amount.
Please let me know how you wish to proceed?"
for others: make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html
for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html
if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", contact adobe support.

Thank you for being our customer We hope you would consider us as your creative partner in any future venture. they cancelled my subscription for real this time. but i had unknowingly paid for 3 months. Will be the last time i will subscribe something which cannot be unsubscribed.

there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):
chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare
p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

I should have researched this topic before agreeing to a free trial,,, as the cancellation funtion on their website is CHRONICALLY not functioning, and after reading up on this topic: It appears to be something that has been going on for quite some time. I have tried numerous times over several hours to cancel my subscription trial, but the site persistently states: "unable to load data". I tried to get help from their customer service chat (if they have a phone number, it is well hidden... I could not find it after searching for quite some time), but the agents had repeatedly told me to "try again in 2-4 hours" then abruptly ended the chat.
This definitely looks and feels like a scam. SHAME ON YOU, ADOBE
