Adobe Licencing - multi user?

Hello,
I am considering purchasing Adobe Photoshop (& Lightroom?) to edit my photo collection.
My family member is also considering to use Photoshop (& Lightroom?) for their work projects.

I use a Windows PC and they use an Apple Mac.

If we were to purchase Photoshop could we set up two individual user accounts under the same license, or do we need to purchase two seperate subscriptions for that?

If we were to instead 'share' the same licence and user account, would it be interchangable between our Windows and Mac computers?

Creative Cloud subscription is account-based and not machine-based, so each user should have their account and hence a separate subscription. When multiple users share the same computer, all they need to do is log into the Creative Cloud app using their account and start using the apps. There is no need for separate apps installations. Also, since the subscription is account-based, you can use it on both the MAC and WIN OS. The only caveat is that the app on only one machine can be used at a time for a single subscription. Hope this clears your confusion

In case it isn't clear, the normal subscription is for a single person only. There is no option to add users to it, and it is not allowed to share it with friends, family, colleagues or staff. So you'd need a subscription each.

It is a shame Adobe's prices are so high as we will not able to afford to purchase two separate subscriptions and will have to go without.
