Forgive me if this is in ther wrong forum....
I have been using Photoshop since Photoshop 5 for personal use. I'm now 84 years old and I'm afraid you've finally succeeded in pricing Photoshop out of my grasp. I use only Photoshop, Camera Raw and Bridge and that's all. My total income is a monthly social security.check, which makes over $200 / year pretty much out of my grasp.
Please, PLEASE provide us with a way to continue using our favorite photo editor. I've been looking at other editors, but none can compare with Photoshop, particularly when it comes to layers abd masking.
By the way, what is to become of Bridge? Are you dropping it?
Gerry
I finally found what I was looking for - My Account Page. They make it difficult enough to find. There are two photography plans available, the only difference I can see is the amount of Creative Cloud online storage available to you. Online storage is the last thing I need.
Thank you all for your help.

there are no special pricing plans for seniors. it is something that has been previously suggested.
you can look for pricing deals/specials (which are especially common during the holidays), both on adobe.com and at amazon.
why would you think bridge is being dropped?

#1. Perhaps if it's suggested often enough, someone will take notice. Doubling the cost of P'shop in a year is ludicrous!
Also I didn't mean to single out seniors. There are many out here who use Photoshop for no personal gain and can't afford the steep cost!
#2. 'Cause Bridge isn't mentioned in any of the packages. In previous years, it was.

these are user forums. if you want to make an adobe suggestion, you can do that using the below link(s)
for applicable apps, use https://helpx.adobe.com/ie/x-productkb/global/how-to-user-voice.html for others, use https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html
p.s. telling a company their pricing policy is rediculous is probably not going to be a winning argument
p.p.s bridge is included with all plans, and even with no subscription, https://prodesigntools.com/free-adobe-bridge-cc.html

The photography plan (20Gb of Cloud storage — to identify the correct one) is about $10 per month, and includes all Photoshop, Camera Raw and Bridge. I would also suggest, you start using Lightroom Classic to organize your assets. It's a kind of Bridge and Camera Raw combined.
When contacting Customer service and asking in a friendly tone, you may be able to get a discount. In Europe, during Black Friday, Amazon did run a promotional action that allowed for a considerable discount.
As a side note: the Photography Plan is not discounted to students. But compared to the former price of Photoshop (the retail version running on a perpetual licence), it's a bargain.
If you want a perpetual licence solution, you should consider Photoshop Elements, which also includes Raw processing: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/processing-camera-raw-image-files.html.
There are no subscription fees with this one.

subscription prices go up after the first year and that's what's bothering the op. ie, photography plan 2nd year cost.

I was just assured that my fee would NOT go up after the first of the year. My subscription expires in March and the Adobe lady on the phone assured me I would be billed in February for the same price I'm paying now. Perhaps the higher published subscription prices only affect NEW subscribers?
And @kglad everything I know, I learned in DC during the James Earl Carter years. 🙂

you should receive a transcript of your chat (if you used chat). save that transcript in the event of an future issue with the price.

Second year cost is still $10/month for the Photography plan, except if the price is indeed getting higher due to general price hikes. If there is a special deal for the first year, you could always try to negotiate again.

i didn't know that. i thought all adobe prices are first year only and then typically rise by 50% to 100%.

Photography Plan is only $10/month. Includes the following:

That is deepest discount bundle Adobe offers.

Thank you. That's what others have told me also. However, this page:
https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/business-plans.html?plan=team&step=2
shows me otherwise! Also, the URL you just sent me to gives me an "invalid parameters specified" message though I AM logged in!!
I wish someone would tell me what in blazes is going on!!!!!

contact adobe support and purchase a renewal through them if the price is good for you. then follow-up here so we can better help others.
there are 3 ways to contact adobe; chat, phone and twitter:
chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
phone:
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html
twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare
p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...

@kglad
I tried to renew while I was on the phone with Adobe. The lady kept saying I would be notified in February it was time to renew at the $119 rate. She wouldn't allow me to renew until then.
Adobe is protecting themselves so they can raise the rate at year's end if they wish.. And I feel captive. I've been looking for something to replace Photoshop and there's simply nothing unless I want to start all over again from scratch! Topaz, ON1, Gimp, Krita, Pixlr E, etcetera. They are fine in their own way, but they aren't Photoshop!

i know over thanksgiving weekend users were using black friday deals (from amazon) to extend their subscriptions.
they didn't wait until renewal. they redeemed their deal and the additional year was added to end of their current subscriptions.

None of the products you named, except for Gimp, are Photoshop like programs. ON1 is a Lightroom competitor.
When buying from Amazon, you get a redemption code that adds on top of your current subscription. The subscription gets interrupted for the year, the redemption code is applied. If you buy from Amazon, be sure that the vendor is indeed Amazon.

Why on Earth are you going to Business Plans?
Photography Plan is for individuals only. It's not available to corporate entities with multiple employees.

Because that's where your s****d web page put me AFTER I logged in as a single user and asked it to show me the plans available to me!!!

adobe's website does could be (a lot) better. that said, did you check the photography plans for individuals, https://creative.adobe.com/plans
> click compare photography plans and check at the top of the page to make sure you've selected individuals.
and, of course, there are going to be holiday specials coming up (but i don't think you'll find any photography plan discounts).

Evidently your account is tied to a corporate entity. Thus you're not eligible for individual plans with that Adobe ID.

i'm doubtful about your account being tied to any corporation. you can confirm (and let use know), but using this info:
you can check checking your account to see if you have an individual or corporate/teams subscription. you can see where to look here: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/contact-administrator.html
