Adobe apparently refuses to allow users to remove credit card details from their accounts. Lina Kahn at the FTC has investigated and heavily fined several companies for what they call "dark patterns" that make it difficult (or impossible) to cancel subscriptions, remove payment details and other nefarious stuff companies you'd think would know better do to rip off consumers. Now, I have to call me credit card company to report the card stolen to get a new one with a new number so Adobe can't use it to charge me without my knowledge. After I call my credit card issuer, I will file a complaint with the FTC over this abusive practice.
I encourage all other Adobe customers who would like to delete their credit card details but cannot because of Adobe's abusive practices to do the same.
Adobe, stop these abusive practices before the FTC catches up with you, it's only a matter of time. You guys are sleazy, just shocking for a large company like this to engage is these shady practices. Shame, shame, shame.

You have to go through bot which will only give you an option to "update" your payment info, then demand contact with a human, then the bot will aks the same questions again. Then you get to a human agent who will then delete your payment info. There's no "delete card deatils" button even without active subscription.
