Question

Being billed for a ghost account, I think.

I have a credit card that is in no way attached to my creative cloud subscription that is being hit monthly with a creative cloud subscription. My guess is that it was a subscription from long ago to some dead email address. But I'd like to kill it off.

It would be crazy if there was someone at adobe to just ask.

Is it possible you ordered something for your mobile device from Google Play or Apple iStore?

Or possibly another 3rd party vendor like Amazon?

If so, you'll need to contact the respective vendor about it.

Adobe's Customer Portal is for managing plans you've ordered directly from Adobe.

Log-in below with your Adobe ID (email) and password.

I do not have any active plan that bills to that credit card.

What is more possible is that I've been billed for an old account for a very long time that was attached to an email from a company that is no longer alive and therefore I cannot log into it. What I should do, I guess, is dispute the charge. In the past when I've tried this, I've been told that the charge is valid and then I've had to jump through a lot more hoops. So it would be helpful to be able to speak to someone at Adobe who can help with this.

there are 2 ways to contact adobe support; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
if you have or want to purchase a subscription, use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.
