Be aware that if you cancel the subscription early, you will be charged a termination fee. To avoid that, wait to cancel until 4 weeks before the renewal date.
If you have issues, contact customer support. This is a public forum, not Adobe support. Users, including the ACPs and MVPs, can't provide support for account, subscription, billing, download, or product activation issues. Support for those issues requires an Adobe employee.

You do not cancel an account at all. You cancel a PLAN. Each plan must be cancelled separately if you have more than one plan; there may be a cancellation fee to be paid.
NB the following do NOT cancel a plan
- uninstalling software
- signing out
- destroying the PC/Mac
- cancelling the credit card
Also note that if you ask Adobe to cancel a plan they MIGHT offer some free months. If you accept this offer you have NOT cancelled, you have signed up for a new complete year at the end of your free months.
