Hi, everyone. I have some questions about cancel plans 

 

I apply for monthly payment, annual plan. If you want to cancel this month (subscribe last month), can you cancel it? On the date of applying, but when I press to cancel, it charges the difference that must be paid, so I'm confused. Anyone knows, please help. Talk to the bot until I can't answer at all.

you can cancel, but because you agreed to a one year contract and would be breaking that contract, expect to be assessed a penalty.

there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

I apparently signed up for an automatic renewal of my one-year subscription.  It has been renewed and my credit card was charged $239.88.

1. If I cancel now, how much is the penalty and how much will I get back?

2. Even if I do not cancel, how do I get out of the automatic renewal so that this doesn' happen next year?

1. penalty = 1/2 the cost of the remaining subscription 

 

2. you have to set a personal reminder to cancel a day or teo prior to renewal. ie, there isn't (yet) a way to cancel in advance nor change the auto-renewal.
