I'm really pissed off at adobe. I signed up for a free trial of acrobat, and when I go to cancel it  12 days early it won't let me cancel until I pay $143?? Not in this economy I'm going to pay for things for no reason. I  need adobe suport ASAP.

Hi @Eigengrau35628390sijv,

As per your account details, you have an active subscription for Adobe Acrobat since last 26 days.

Adobe has a policy that the free trial lasts for 7days. Sometimes the users forget to cancel the trial and the money gets deducted on the 8th day then they can ask for complete refund within next 7days days which gives them a window of 14 days in total. The refund is denied only after that.

You can get more info here: https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

We hope it clarifies it all. Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Shivangi

I have a similar predicament.  I signed up for a free trial and didn't remember it was for only 7 days. Now after 1 month(?) of not even using it, I'm told I'm going to be charge $70 or so to cancel!  What the heck!!

I can't afford a year subscription, and I can't afford to cancel. Thanks, Adobe!

@kl357917

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", contact adobe support.

there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
