Canceling Lightroom Classic subscription

Community Beginner ,
Oct 07, 2025 Oct 07, 2025

I've been paying for a Lightroom Classic license for about two years. A few weeks ago, my Windows 10 hard drive died. Automatic repair didn't help. Windows won't start. I couldn't deactivate my old computer. I decided to build a newer computer with a new SSD.

I installed Windows 10 and Creative Cloud on my new computer. I log in with my email account, which I created two years earlier specifically for paying for my Adobe Lightroom license. However, the list of activated devices, plans, and payment history are empty.

Despite this, I'm still being charged for a plan I can't use. Please provide instructions on how to cancel or recover the serial number of the license I'm still paying for. If necessary, I can provide the debit card number used to make payments.

I'm waiting for a response; the situation is irritating.

PS. I'm not a native English speaker.

I appreciate that, Andrzej. You will need to use https://adobe.ly/3J1MECX to locate the account that you are being charged under and that has the active subscription to Lightroom. ^JW

just install the cc desktop app from here https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop?action=install&source=apps&productId=creative-cloud and use it to install your adobe subscription and trial programs.

if you have trouble downloading the cc desktop app or you see an error message when trying to install, make sure you have a compatible os (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/system-requirements.html), and use the alternative download links at page bottom here, https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

Thank you very much mr Jeffrey Wright!

With your help i was able to recover my long forgotten email address and the licence binded with it.

Recovering details made me manage settings and activate my new computer. I will also consider upgrade to Win11 as you suggest. The long battle with dementia resulted in 100% success. Thank you very much.

Andrzej, congratulations on your new computer. To maintain compatibility with current applications and services, you may want to consider upgrading to Windows 11.

I don't see any active subscriptions or licenses for Adobe Lightroom under the account you used to post to this public discussion forum. You can use the information at https://adobe.ly/4nzqB5D to locate the account that contains your active subscription, Andrzej. ^JW
