Canceling subscriptions

Hi all, this is my first time here. I have an annual subscription with a monthly fee. To cancel I need to pay a large cancellation bill. I haven't found any information anywhere on whether or not I can cancel the renewal after my contract ends? And can I cancel my subscription without a cancellation bill?

Hi @Altynai259101230a7e,

If you are past the period of 14 days since subscription then you are liable to pay a cancellation fees. You are levied a cancellation fees that is equal to 50% of the remaining subscription period. See the following

https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

So you have the following choices

  • If you can find a use for the software for the whole subscription period then use it for the whole year and cancel during the last month of your subscription. This way you won't have to pay the cancellation fees and still get something out from what you pay
  • If you find no use of the software then cancelling it even after paying the fees would be cheaper for you
  • You could talk to the support team to discuss your options and see if there is any possibility of waiver on your cancellation fees

Thanks,

I canceled my subscription and it charged me an early termination fee which was not explained when I did the trial period.  It looked predatory because it would not let you cancel, and was even offering two months free of you decide to check the first box.

You need to check what you are signing up for. Overlooking that can't be then blamed on the other party. I see it clearly mentioned that cancellation fees would apply. See the screenshot which is shown when you check the plan's pricing from the window which gives you an option to choose a plan for purchase.

Then you have it explained in more detail at the following link

https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

Now though I do understand your point and it could be frustrating if the information was not easily accessible. However, when I tried the workflow as a normal user I could see the information at multiple places so I would say you are being a little harsh here.
