Question

Cancellation fee

I don't understand why you want to charge me 118,94  for cancelling my Adobe Acrobat subscription.

I've been paying monthly since the start of 2022, I haven't found where it says that each year you hold me to paying the entire year's worth of monthly fees, besides the fact that you raised the fee without any prior agreement and offering nothing, no benefits in return.

You make it impossible to contact anyone from any support team.

I want to speak to a sales representative or anyone that handles payments and subscriptions, I am very disappointed, I want to cancel my plan, but I don't want to get robbed by you guys.

there are 3 ways to contact adobe; chat, phone and twitter:

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

phone:
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html

twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-community/td-p/12919684/redirect_from_archived_page/true

Hi there,

Thank you for writing to us. Happy to help!

We have checked your account and we see that you have an active Acrobat Pro subscription under the email address associated with the community.

If you are not able to get to the chat window, then disable your adblockers, firewall, enable cookies/scripts on your browser. If it still fails then change your browser/machine/network.

Please do not share any personal/confidential information like email ID, bank details, etc here. This is a public forum.

Hope the information was helpful to you. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Sincerely,

Rashmi Swain

My guess is you were signed up for a yearly contract, which means you pay less on a monthly basis, but if you cancel it prematurely you're charged the discounted you got for the previous months.

But if you want to discuss it with Adobe directly follow one of these methods:

Chat support: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
(make sure pop-ups are not blocked; type "Agent" to chat with a real person)
Phone support: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html
There's no email support.

Beware of people contacting you via the forums' messaging system pretending to work for Adobe! Only those with an "Adobe Employee" tag under their name are legit. Also, Adobe will never offer to contact you via Skype, or use an email account that's not under the adobe.com domain...
