Cancelled my free trial before it ends but still charged

I have downloaded free trial of the Adobe Illustrator and when I tried to cancel it, it offered an extension of the free trial for another 7 days which I agreed. However on that day, they charged my credit card with name: Illustrator ADOBE.COM IE. I talked to the customer service and he said: "I have checked all my records and also with our Backend Team as well for you. Unfortunately, I regret to inform you that the charge matching the information could not be found. In this case, I would kindly request you to contact your Respective Bank at the earliest to Dispute this charge and request for Chargeback (Refund) from the bank. "

I searched the web and many has the same problem. Is this Fraud commited by Adobe to knowingly charged our credit card even we ended the free trial before it ends? Anyone reported to the police?

I completely understand how frustrating and alarming this situation must be.

Please rest assured that Adobe takes the security of our users' data extremely seriously. Our platform is built with industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect all personal and payment information. If your card was used without your authorization, it’s highly likely that the card details were compromised through another source, not through Adobe’s systems.

I contacted 4 supports and finally Alviya found a solution to the issue.

He said: while purchasing the plan on this account you made a typo error and the plan was purchased on a wrong email to which I don't have access.

Though I don't quite understand why it could happen as I have logged into my own account when purchasing the plan (actually subscribed to free trial). Anyway, Alviya was able to cancel the subscription finally.

I also cancelled the 7 day free trial before the last day but today I received a message of the payment but I don't have sufficient balance in my account that's why the payment is not debited, so do I have to pay the balance now?

you're not understanding.  adobe support is telling you that there are fraudulent charges using your card for a subscription on someone else's (the fraudster) account.

ie, contact your credit card vendor and report fraudulent use of your credit card.  neither adobe (nor anyone else but the card owner) can (or, at least, should be able to) do that.

I only provided my card to Adobe. Are you saying that the Adobe platform is NOT secure so that anyone putting their credit card information there can be used by a fraudster to pay their adobe subscription? Then it is a big security loophole for Adobe. I don't agree that Adobe can do nothing as they are the one who charged. They can at least check which account has used my credit card information and suspend that account. It is only Adobe can do that.
