Question

cancelling subscription - monthly plan becoming annual plan = cancelling fees

I want to cancel my subscription but somehow, there were some changes on my account and my monthly plan became an annual plan, with mensual fees. It's not the first time I cancelled a plan but never had to pay fees about it because the plan wasn't annually. I'm using the same plan I used before so why is it different now? I don't recalled that it was an annual plan 2 months ago.  Why can't I cancel my plan now without having to pay cancellation fees? Two months ago, I wanted to cancel my plan and there were no cancellation fees because my plan wasn't an annual plan, so a contract to you.

SOME programs are available Monthly https://community.adobe.com/t5/Get-Started/Being-charged-for-a-full-year-when-i-m-on-month-to-month/td-p/10248222 - links and pictures
-the special Photography Plan is ONLY available on an annual plan, with monthly or 1 annual payment

So, unless you specifically signed up for the more expensive monthly plan (with the ability to cancel at the end of any month without any fees) you have an annual plan with monthly payments

Perhaps it was an annual plan, paid monthly. Most of them are. So you promise to pay for a whole year, but Adobe generously charge you only half the remaining year's subscription if you want to break your promise.

Did you try to cancel and were given a free two months? This often happens. At the end of the free perioud, your annual plan restarts for a new year.

check https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html
p.s. if you're cancelling an annual plan early, there's a penalty (=1/2 the cost of the remaining months).

if the above link doesn't help you cancel, using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
