Cannot cancel plan because email has been deleted

Hello,

I am not able to cancel my plan because the email associated with the plan has been deactivated (it was a school account). I've been getting charged the for the last three months with literally no way of canceling. Every time I try to cancel it or even try to talk to someone, it asks me to sign into my account, but again, it is impossible. How can I talk to a real person (not virtual assistant) about this?

The volunteers on this forum do not have access to your account information. Adobe Customer Care are the only ones who can assist and they do support by Chat and X/Twitter. I've moved your post from Using the Community (for questions about the forums) to Account, Payment, & Plan.

If you have a lengthy explanation, you might want to type it up first, then copy and paste it. If chat insists that you sign it with your dead account, ask for Tier 2 support.

Try the link to auto-open the Chat:
    https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
Type "agent" to get a human.

If your browser blocks the Chat window, try the troubleshooting tips here:
    https://community.adobe.com/t5/creative-cloud-services/how-to-contact-adobe-support/td-p/11875703

You can also send a post through X (formerly Twitter) to @AdobeCare.

Do not reply to PMs, which are likely to be scammers.

    Hi Caroline,

We appreciate you writing in. We tried to pull up the account details but we understand that there is no active subscription associated this email ID.

Since this is a public forum we can not ask for the email associated with the account to get more info.

Please initiate a private chat session with our support team here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen

Let us know if you have any questions.

    Regards,

    Shivangi

Yes, I know this account doesn't have an active plan associated with it - I had to make a new account just to post this question since I cannot log in. The chat does not work for me since it is also asking me to log in.

Have you tried X (Twitter). Send a post to @AdobeCare.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Thanks, but the plan was not managed by the school. I simoly used my student email address to sign up for the account. And now my email address has been deactivated.
