Changing plan from regular single app to university student full Adobe Creative all apps plan

Hi, I'm a university student and one of the lecturers recently told me that I can change my current regular Adobe Animate plan to cheap and full Adobe Creative Cloud all apps plan. (Here I mean that sale offer for plan for $19.99, which might soon expire).

I tried doing it, but when entering the plan changing tab it didn't show me such option. The university teacher however reassured me, that it is possible to update my plan, and I've seen some people do it and post about it here, on forum. I can't however understand how to do it and upon trying to chat with support agent the link doesn't work (on multiple browsers, and two different devices). Can anyone please tell me if this even is possible? What do I need to do? Maybe Cancelling the current Adobe Animate plan and then manually buying this recent $19.99 offer will work in the same way?

Any help or information about what I could do will be priceless for me!

That offer may be for first time subscribers.  Check the fine print in the offer.

Your professor is only partly right.  You can't change a regular plan to student rates but you can cancel your current plan and pay the 50% early termination fee.

Once that plan is cancelled, you can get a new plan at the student rate of $20/month for the first year only. After that, your price goes up to $30/month which is still 40% off regular rates.
