Changing plans from Photography to Lightroom - Using Amazon Prime Day Voucher

Community Beginner ,

Hey,
I want to change my Photography (PS+LR+LRC 20GB) plan to the Lightroom (LR + LRC + 1TB) plan. Personally I am very happy with the change Adobe did to it's plans to now include LRC to the Lightroom plan.
So I've just purchased the LR deal on Amazon Day, since this is what I want / need.

The thing is, my Photography plan is still running until oct. I've been buying it via Amazon deals for years now, no issues. So I guess it always added the year to my plans.

If I redeem the new LR plan voucher NOW, I guess I would start two plans, which would technically mean I loose a few months on my photography plan. Which I want to avoid.

Can I just wait with redeeming the Lightroom plan code until october?

Do I have to actively switch my photography plan to a lightroom plan to then add the code / redeem the voucher?

Thanks for the help.

Thanks for posting your question, Juilian. I am happy to hear you are pleased with the services provided.

You are correct, since you purchased a redemption code for a different subscription, you will want to wait until our current one ends to redeem the code. You can find information on this scenario in https://adobe.ly/4eNTsje. If you redeem the code now, then you will start the new subscription, in addition to your current subscription.

If you do have any problems redeeming the code in Oct

You are correct, since you purchased a redemption code for a different subscription, you will want to wait until our current one ends to redeem the code. If you do have any problems redeeming the code in October, then you will want to work with the reseller to request a different code or a refund. You can find additional details on how to use redemption codes at https://adobe.ly/46zq3XC.

Hey @Jeffrey_A_Wright thanks for that quick response,

That's fine with me :).

Do you by any chance know or can confirm, that the recently purchased LR subscription redemption code will be valid until then? As in: Is there an expiry of these codes?

Thanks
Julian

Adobe redemption codes typically remain valid for a while. I would recommend you to check the packaging or email confirmation for an exact expiry date for the redemption codes.

ie, check with the vendor about expiration dates.
