College student adobe account suspended

I am a student and Michigan State University and I had an adobe license during my fall semester (2023). I am now in my spring semester (2024), and I never cancelled my plan but it was suspended due to me not being in school over my winter break. I am still getting the same message about my license being suspended even though my account still says that I am paying monthly for the license. I would just cancel my license and buy it again, but there is a $79.96 cancelation fee that I shouldn't have pay. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

How can your plan get suspended and you still need to pay? For any student plan that gets sold by Adobe, the student status get checked at the beginning and is valid for a full year.

Peep the screenshot brah. I don't know if the card is still being charged but my payments are still scheduled. I also do not seem to have the subscription for a full year either, since it wont let me use the apps.

again, contact adobe support

I called them and they transfered me back and forth four times and the call dropped twice, they were honestly more useless than helpful.

do you have a school managed subscription?  if so, follow @Myra Ferguson and contact your admin, https://helpx.adobe.com/in/enterprise/kb/contact-administrator.html

otherwise, follow @Anshul_Saini's suggestion and contact adobe support.

Universities often have a special license arrangement. I'd recommend talking to your school's IT department to see what they recommend.

I called Michigan State's IT department and they said since I didn't directly purchase adobe creative cloud from them they were not able to help. Is there a way for me to get out of that $80 cancelation fee and just cancel the account? At this point that seems to be the easiest solution, but that $80 cancelation fee for a college student to pay is honestly outrageous.

you need to contact adobe support using x/twitter.

i don't think you'll be able to use chat unless you're signed in using a subscription account.

Hi @Benji34791530hhaf,

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're facing with your Adobe account. It's recommended to reach out to Adobe Support for assistance in resolving billing and subscription-related concerns.

If you have an individual plan, you can contact AdobeCare on Twitter by mentioning them using the handle @AdobeCare or DM them (https://adobe.ly/3O8F5cV). They usually respond promptly and can help you with account-specific issues.

If you have a team or enterprise subscription, it's best to reach out to the support team directly through the Admin Console (adobe.ly/2GAczkt). Once signed in to your Admin Console, you'll find support options to address your subscription concerns.

I hope this helps, and if you have any more questions or if there's anything else I can assist you with, feel free to let me know.

Best,

Anshul Saini
