CS6 is registered, shows in account, No Activations listed yet can't validate on new computer

I registered my CS6 in 2013. I have had several computers in that time. I just got a new one and when I try to validate the license, it tells me that I've already installed it on 2 computers. One of those computers died a sudden death and is long gone.

However, my account shows no activated devices so I can't even deactivate the old dead computer! I don't want to deactivate the license on the old computer that is still working (and that I'm posting this from).

I noticed in a different post that you should not register within the product but go to a link provided. I went to the link on my new computer (I'm posting this from my old working computer - obviously not the old dead one.) But when I try to register on that one, it tells me that it's already registered. I have no idea where to go from here. I've been procrastinating asking for help and now it will be blocked on my new computer at midnight, I guess! And I have a deadline.

HELP!

Managing activations online is only for cloud programs, not serial number programs

You are allowed 2 activations... if you can't DE-activate due to a dead computer nobody, not even Adobe can help

That's crazy. They should have a way to do so. What a racket

To be more clear, as a database dev and admin, since that info exists somewhere, there's a way to do it. They just don't want to give it to you. Ugh. I hate subscription installs. Thanks.

Do you have it activated on any working computer?

I do. I thought this one was dead (it had an MBR error, but I managed to
get it up and working)

as long as you can keep that computer working, you should be able to use that cs6.  (but taking it offline or adding adobe to your hosts file, might be a good idea).

activations shown (or in your case, not shown) on your account, don't make any difference.  nothing could be deactivated there.

you have to use a computer with a current activation, if you need to regain an activation.
