Current Discount in Europe Only for New Customers?

I couldn't find any info and there are no footnotes. But I was just charged my yearly plan and then I read that there is a 20% discount. Could someone please shed a light on this? Usually there should be a footnote if there are exceptions.

Normally, such discounts are only for first time customers. But effectively, the footnote is missing. As a side note: the discount is not for Europe, but for Germany and may be a limited number of other countries.

often the first year of adobe's plans are offered at a discounted rate.  other than that, i can't say what rate you were charge nor what rate others were offered.

 

you could contact adobe support to get more specifics about your plan and current offers.  using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

click contact us (= cryptic icon in the lower right)

in the chat field, type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human

Thanks! I tried to reach support, but couldn't find any option to contact someone, also not the icon lower right. I have a browser that accepts popups and cookies.
Perhaps that's a feature for people in other countries, we Europeans seem to pay a premium without getting much support. I had that before.
