ie, there's a penalty (= 1/2 the amount remaining on your commitment) for cancelling an annual subscription paid monthly.  that will be zero penalty when cancelled just after the 12 payment of the year is received.

You didn't say which plan you subscribed to. The annual plans are deeply discounted from the month-to-month plans, which is why there is a fee for early cancellation of an annual commitment.

The three types of plans are:

• Annual plan, paid monthly
• Annual plan, prepaid
• Month-to-month plan
