Does Adobe double charge, if I change plans?

A few days ago, before my plan ended on July 5th, I decided to switch to the Creative Cloud plan. Since I had a 1-year commitment and use more than one Adobe product for work, I thought it made sense to get all the apps to make work easier. I pay the same amount anyways. So, I changed plans in the morning.

However, I noticed that in the afternoon, another 38 euros were taken from my card. I might have missed some details, but I don't remember reading anywhere that if I change plans, I have to pay double. Is it possible that this is July's payment plus the new plan fee? (Now my previous plan ended on jul.5 but I also changed, before I was charged on july 5. given that on the 4th or before that I didn't have an opportunity to change my plan, so I only could do it on the last day.) So maybe I was at fault, but still I wasn't charged again the second time for hours and hours, after I already changed plans.

no, they do not charge for correctly charging plans.  discuss with adobe support to fix this.  there are 2 ways to contact adobe support; chat and twitter (now x):

    chat:
if you have or want to purchase a subscription, use a browser that allows popups and cookies
    and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

    twitter/x:
    tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
